Mens Texas Scramble Open Rules

FORMAT / RULES:

White Tees / Strokeplay Scramble

25%+20%+15%+ 10% Lowest to Highest Handicap

Minimum 4 Drives for each player

The player whose prior stroke is chosen must play the first stroke. Subsequent players may be played in any order.

If the ball chasen is on grass cut to fairway height it may be lifted cleaned and placed with 6 inches no nearer the hole. Subsequent Balls mat be placed within 1 club length not nearer the hole. In the General Area or Penalty area not cut to fairway height where the ball is played the ball must be dropped no nearer the hole within 1 club length. In a bunker the ball will be placed, re-creating the lie of the original ball, the ball on the putting green is placed as close as possible to the original ball position.

A marker should be placed within 1 scorecard length in the general area / bunker / penalty area and within 1 putters head length on the green to identify the position of the original ball.

Players are reminded that standing directly behind the player playing is not permitted under the Rules of Golf
